A card's properties are typed fields beside it: a date, an amount, a name. Any key of up to 40 lowercase
letters, digits and underscores is allowed, and nothing checks a value against this page. It is a
recommendation, so that two apps describing the same thing use the same name: a processor for law and a plugin
for Obsidian that both write filed_on can be filtered together, and one that writes filing_date cannot.
Each key below is one Caute or a processor Axionary runs already writes, with the type it is written as. A
value written as another type is still kept, but a filter such as due:lt:2026-12-01 compares dates only with
dates.
The types are text, number, date (YYYY-MM-DD), url and list (of text). When a value is sent without
a type, Caute reads one from it: a number is a number, a list a list, YYYY-MM-DD a date, an address
starting https:// a url, and anything else text.
Conversations and memory
| Key |
Type |
Meaning |
assistant |
text |
The assistant a conversation or memory came from, in lowercase: claude, chatgpt, gemini, or a connected app's name. |

Naming a new key
Use an existing key when it means the same thing. Otherwise: lowercase words joined by _; a date ends in
_on (filed_on, decided_on) or names the event (due, expires); an amount names what it counts and puts
its currency in a key of its own. Keep one meaning per key, so a filter on it means one thing.
